If you don't already have one, create a free Amazon Web Services (AWS) account. The desktop only runs during market hours and auto-stops after the close, so your AWS bill is typically just a few dollars a month.

Grant Provisioning Access (we guide you)

After checkout we email you secure, step-by-step instructions to grant PixyTrade scoped access to your AWS account using a cross-account IAM role — the AWS-recommended way to let us provision resources without ever sharing your password or long-lived keys. Here's the flow:

  1. Complete checkout (Step 1) — you'll receive a secure setup link by email
  2. Follow the link to create a scoped, revocable IAM role for your account
  3. Paste the role's ARN back into the secure form — that's the entire grant
🔒 Security note: The cross-account role is scoped to provisioning your trading desktop — it cannot access your billing or change account settings, and you can revoke it the moment setup is complete. We never ask for your AWS password or root access keys.

  • AWS Account ID (12 digits) — shown in the top-right of the AWS console
  • Discord username — so we can give you bot access

Can my spouse or partner also control the desktop?

Yes. You control who can start and stop the desktop from Discord by assigning them a role.

What about weekends and holidays?

Your desktop auto-shuts down after market close and doesn't start on weekends. You only pay for hours it's running.

What if I need help after setup?

Can I stop early on slow days?

Yes. Just type /desktop stop in Discord and the instance stops immediately. You stop paying for compute the moment it shuts down.

Do I need a DAS Trader license?

Yes — you use your existing DAS Trader account. We install the platform on your cloud desktop and connect it for you.
